About Ben

When I was 15 years old, I heard about a book called Illusions, by Richard Bach. Just hearing some stories from this book started me on a journey of personal discovery.
At 18 years of age, I did the “est” training, and later participated in several “Forum” satellite events. I become involved with est workshops, both as a particpant and as a volunteer.
At the age of 20, I became involved in the Berkeley Psychic Institute. I learned how to meditate, do healings and do clairvoyant readings. I was active there for 14 years, the last seven years as a teacher.
Since hearing about the book Illusions, I’ve also been an avid reader of many books on human potential, psychology and spirituality.
Everything I’m passionate about basically boils down to the quest for personal freedom. This, to me, is spiritual freedom fully expressed in a human body. I seek a diet the gives me the most freedom and allows me to feel my best. I seek a livelihood that is closest to my heart and allows me to give to others as well as give to myself.
I am a highly sensitive person. I am easily blown about by subtle changes in mood, environment and emotion.
I am an armchair philosopher. I know enough to know that I don’t know very much.
My goal with these writings is to start a dialog that helps shed light on the path of enlightenment for everyday people. We can reach our goal just by beginning to head in the right direction.
